Alexandre Liberato (*1981, Lisbon) is a Portuguese visual artist currently based in Berlin. He holds a BA (Hons) in Architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon (2005) and attended CREART Labs in Barcelona (2017). Liberato has exhibited his work regularly in Berlin at KINDL - Center for Contemporary Art, Hošek Contemporary, 48 Stunden Neukölln, Projektraum 145 and at his Studio/Gallery.  Additionally, his work has been showcased at KONVENT.ZERO in Barcelona and the Thessaloniki Queer Art Festival. Liberato’s project focuses on geometry and the body, creating an abstract inclusive space to exist, to contemplate the sublime – a sensibility that touches everyone equally, transforming them from the inside. Through his work, he seeks a conscious emancipation of masculinity from outdated toxic paradigms.
